Enthalpy Change

The Enthalpy Change Concept Builder focuses on the relationship between the coefficients of the balanced chemical equation, the enthalpy change (∆H) associated with the equation. and the results of a calorimetry analysis of such a reaction. There are 48 questions that have been organized into 15 Question Groups and spread across three scaffolded difficulty levels. We recommend beginning with the Apprentice level and working through each level as it seems appropriate. Question-specific help is provided for each of the 15 situations. The immediate feedback makes this Concept Builder a perfect candidate for a classroom activity. For those with Task Tracker accounts, student progress is tracked and recorded in our database.
