Gibbs Free Energy

The Gibb's Free Energy Concept Builder targets student ability to use the Gibb's Free Energy Equation to solve for an unknown quantity ... and to make judgements regarding the spontaneity of a reaction.. The activity is comprised of 16 multi-part, numerical questions spread across three difficulty levels. Students will receive one question for each difficulty level. Questions involve the completion of a table.  Question-specific help is provided for each of the 16 situations. The built-in feedback and score-keeping makes this Concept Builder a perfect candidate for student practice or a classroom activity. And the use of the activity with our Task Tracker program allows teachers to view records of student progress.
