Metals, Nonmetals, and Metalloids

The Metals, Nonmetals, and Metalloids Concept Builder provides learners an exercise in distinguishing between metals, nonmetals, and metalloids based on their described properties and upon the elements location within the periodic table. There are three different activities that take a different slant on the topic. The Concept Builder contains a total of 28 questions organized into 12 different Question Groups and spread across the three activities. Question-specific help is provided for each of the 12 situations. The built-in score-keeping makes this Concept Builder a perfect candidate for a classroom activity.
