Reduction Potential
The Reduction Potential Concept Builder introduces students to the use of a reduction potential table to identify an appropriate reducing agent or oxidizing agent for a specified redox reaction. There are a total of 36 questions in this Concept Builder. They are organized into 12 different Question Groups and spread across the three activities. Question-specific help is provided for each of the 12 situations. The built-in feedback and help makes this Concept Builder a great study tool. When used with our Task Tracker program, it is a great tool for use as an in-class or out-of-class assigned task.
We recommend that you approach this exercise with a digital or printed version of the Reduction Potential table. We have provided one here on our site.
