States Of Matter - Questions

The States Of Matter Concept Builder is comprised of 23 questions organized into 17 Question Groups and spread across three unique activities. The first activity - Who Am I?- challenges learners to distinguish between the contrasting properties of solids, liquids and gases. The second activity - Changes of State - provides practice identifying the names of the six different state transitions involving solids, liquids, and gases. The third activity - Heating Curves - challenges learners to associated the regions of a heating curve with solids, liquids, and gases and the changes between them. Question-specific help is provided for each of the 17 situations. The built-in feedback and score-keeping makes this Concept Builder a perfect candidate for student practice or a classroom activity. And the use of the activity with our Task Tracker program allows teachers to view records of student progress.
