Charging by Induction

The Charging by Induction Concept Builder challenges the learner to use the fundamental concepts of opposites attract and likes repel to explain how objects become charged by induction. There are eight different physical situations to analyze. These are divided into three levels of difficulty. The Apprentice Difficulty Level and the Master Difficulty Level each have four questions. Each question includes a two-part analysis of a charging by induction situation. The Wizard Difficulty Level consists of eight questions. Question-specific help is provided for each of the eight situations. Use of this Concept Builder with our Task Tracker system allows teachers to track student progress.
