Mass Spectrometer
The Mass Spectrometer Interactive provides learners an opportunity to explore the intricate workings of a Bainbridge Mass Spectrometer. Details associated with the various parts: the charge accelerator, the velocity selector, and the magnetic field (detector) can be examined.
Users are encouraged to open the Interactive and explore. The Physics Classroom has not prepared any activities for use with this Interactive. We are confident that teachers who use our website will come up with plenty of great ideas for using the Mass Spectrometer Interactive and we invite you to share those ideas with us.
