Words and Graphs

The Words and Graphs Concept Builder is a tool that challenges the learner to associate the words used to describe the motion of an object with specific features of velocity-time graphs. Each question in this Concept Builder involves a "paired statement." The pair of statements describe two similar motions with minor differences between them. Learners must focus on the differences of language in order to determine the differences in the corresponding velocity-time graphs. There are three distinct difficulty levels which differ in terms of the number of questions and the complexity of each question. Question-specific help is provided for each question. The built-in score-keeping makes this Concept Builder a perfect candidate for a classroom activity.
